2025 Fall Fundraiser

About Our Campaign
Each year, the PTA raises money to pay for community-building events, educational enrichment, student scholarships, and to support Parkwood families in need.
How do you donate?
You can donate three ways:
- With a check made out to Parkwood PTA*
- Through our fundraising website
- Through an employee giving site, such as Benevity.
*We have sent home red envelopes with each student to help facilitate paying with check. If you pay through an employer giving site, such as Benevity, please fill out the form sent with the red envelope and return it, so we know where to send your tax receipt.
Don’t forget to ask your employer to match your donation! You could double your impact.
Why is the goal so large?
This year, we’re aiming for a bigger fundraising goal than usual. Our school district, along with others across the state, is facing significant federal and state budget cuts. Even with the school levy that was recently passed to help alleviate this, our school is still facing stark reductions.
These reductions mean less funding for essential programs, classroom supplies, and technology that directly benefit our children.
Your contribution is more critical than ever. It will help us bridge this funding gap and ensure our students continue to receive the high-quality education they deserve. We’re grateful for your support in helping us meet this challenge together.
How is the money used?
Your gift benefits your child’s education by providing enrichment opportunities and teacher grants. Last year, the PTA provided after-school enrichment scholarships and hosted several community events, including movie nights, the Talent Show, and the School Dance. We sponsored affinity group events, including World Night, Game Night, and more. In years past, we have purchased gym and playground equipment and projectors, among many other things.
Your gift could:
· Provide teacher grants to each class for discretionary spending.
· Fund our library and provide library fair vouchers for students.
· Help lower the cost of 5th grade camp for all families
· Pay for educational enrichment inside and outside the classroom, including field trips and after-school enrichment clubs.
· Support Parkwood families in need with school supplies, winter coats, and donations to The Works.
Are donations tax deductible?
Absolutely! We are a registered 501c3 organization (EIN 91-6208011), and you will receive a letter confirming your tax-deductible donation for your records.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
